Welcome to Dynamite Films. By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please refrain from using our services.
Dynamite Films provides a range of media production services, including but not limited to digital advertisements, legacy films, and event videography. Specific terms for each service may be outlined in separate agreements or contracts.
Payment Terms
- Quotes: All quotes are valid for 30 days from the date of issue.
- Invoices: Issued upon project completion or as otherwise agreed in writing.
- Deposit: A 10% non-refundable deposit is required to secure a booking. The remaining balance is due upon the project start date as agreed.
- Consultation Fee: £65 per hour of pre-production work, added to the final invoice.
- Cooling-Off Period: A 7-day cooling-off period starts from the payment of the non-refundable deposit. During this period, cancellations will result in a full refund of the deposit.
- Late Payments: Payments not received by the agreed due date will incur a £20 late fee per day until paid in full.
- Additional Filming: Any filming time outside of agreed project terms is charged at £65 per hour. Filming time between 0-29 minutes will be charged at £30, and 30-60 minutes will be charged at £65.
- Installment Plans: Available with a 10% non-refundable deposit and an additional 10% installment fee on the remaining balance. All payments must be completed before production begins.
- Travel Fee: Projects outside a PL or EX postcode will incur a travel fee. For locations within 200 miles of Plymouth, a £250 fee applies. Locations beyond 200 miles will incur an additional £1 per mile on top of the £250 fee.
- Payment Methods: We accept cash, bank transfers, and card transactions. All orders are invoiced regardless of payment method.
Cancellation and Refund Policy
- Client Cancellations: Notify us in writing as soon as possible. Cancellations within 14 days of the scheduled start date will incur a cancellation fee equal to the cost of any pre-production work completed up to the date of cancellation .
- Refunds: The initial deposit is non-refundable. Refunds for additional payments will be considered on a case-by-case basis, based on work completed.
- Dynamite Films Cancellations: If we cancel a project, all payments, including the deposit, will be refunded in full.
Project Timelines and Delivery
- Timelines: Agreed upon in writing. Client-caused delays (e.g., late approvals, delayed materials) may affect delivery timelines.
- Revisions: Packages include up to two rounds of revisions. Additional revisions may incur extra charges.
- Delivery: Final products are delivered in the agreed format. Project files will be retained for up to seven years unless otherwise requested.
Client Responsibilities
- Approvals: Clients must review and approve drafts within agreed timelines to avoid delays.
- Rights and Permissions: Clients must ensure all materials provided to Dynamite Films are appropriately licensed or owned.
Intellectual Property
- Ownership: Clients retain copyright for all work created unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- Portfolio Use: Dynamite Films reserves the right to use completed projects in its portfolio and promotional materials unless otherwise agreed.
Limitation of Liability
Dynamite Films is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of our services. Our total liability is limited to the amount paid by the client for the specific project.
Confidentiality
Both parties agree to maintain the confidentiality of any disclosed information identified as confidential. This obligation continues after project completion. Confidentiality agreements can be arranged upon request.
Amendments
Dynamite Films reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on our website and become effective immediately upon posting.
